Cheapest AI Visibility Trackers for Shopify in 2026: Price per Question per Week
Start with a free manual check or an ongoing free plan. Then compare what a subscription actually repeats: the number of buying questions, the checking schedule and the engines included. A monthly search-credit allowance is not automatically the same as twenty questions checked every week.

AEO (answer engine optimization) and GEO (generative engine optimization) describe work to improve visibility in AI answers. Here we compare the price of measuring those answers, rather than the value of every content or store-fixing feature bundled with a plan.
Free options first
- AEO Tracker: five questions checked weekly on ChatGPT on its ongoing Free plan. A new install first receives a 14-day Starter preview.
- Shoptank, now listed as Libautech AEO and GEO Tracker: three questions refreshed monthly on Free. That is a recurring free option with a slower stated schedule.
- Naridon: five questions run every 30 days on Free. Its listing calls the included coverage Real Trio; ask which engines that means for the plan.
- Kedra AI Index: Free includes one visibility scan on ChatGPT and Gemini. The listing does not promise a recurring weekly free check.
An AI readiness score or a free install alone does not establish a free recurring question-check allowance. Read the plan details before counting it as one.
The calculation, with the schedule included
For a common comparison month we use 52 weeks divided by 12 months, or about 4.33 weeks. Divide the monthly price by the number of questions checked in an average week, then by 4.33. This averages the subscription cost over time; it does not change the provider's billing period.
A ten-question plan refreshed every two weeks averages five questions checked per week. A ten-question weekly plan averages ten. Multiple answers to one question stay in the same question check here, so a richer check can cost more while supplying more evidence.
Example: AEO Tracker Starter is $9.99 divided by ten weekly questions divided by 4.33, or about $0.231 per question per week across all four included engines.

Cost per engine, where the allowance is clear
AEO Tracker runs every saved question on every included engine. Dividing the above cost across its four Starter or Growth engines gives about $0.058 per question per engine per week. Pro's six engines give about $0.096. These are calculations from a bundled subscription, not separately purchasable engine prices.
Visibly AI Starter lists ChatGPT only, so its $3.646 figure already refers to that engine, including four answers per question every two weeks. Pro lists eight answers per question across ChatGPT and Gemini without explaining their split. SearchMention does not allocate its listed question allowance by engine either, so we do not invent an engine-by-engine figure for those plans.

Questions to ask before you pay
- Does each answer check run a live web search, and can I inspect evidence that it searched?
- Is the allowance saved questions, individual engine calls, refreshes, products or credits?
- Which engines are included on this exact plan, and how are the answers split?
- How often is each question rerun? Is a weekly email describing daily, weekly or irregular checks?
- Does adding a country or repeating an answer consume another slot or credit?
- Am I paying for measurement alone, or also content writing, competitor tracking and store changes that I will use?
Use price as one input. AEO Tracker does not offer competitor tracking, automatic content changes or revenue attribution. A broader app can be worth more if those are the jobs you need.

Divide monthly USD price by the average number of questions checked per week and by 52 divided by 12. A two-week refresh has half the weekly question capacity of a weekly refresh with the same saved-question count. This is a comparison convention, not a change to billing.
Can I compare 100 searches with 20 tracked questions?
Only after checking how the provider counts engines, refreshes and countries. A monthly search allowance does not by itself promise a fixed number of questions checked every week.
Does a weekly digest mean weekly checks?
No. An email schedule and an answer-check schedule are different facts. Ask how often each question is rerun.
Does a cheaper tracker guarantee better sales?
No. Tracking measures sampled answers. Recommendations, visits and purchases are different outcomes. Compare useful features and evidence as well as price.
